This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and effectively in confined spaces while complying with OSHA regulations. The course combines classroom instruction, case studies, and hands-on training to ensure participants understand the risks associated with working in confined spaces and can apply proper safety protocols in real-world scenarios.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Identify confined space hazards.
- Identify permit-required confined space hazards.
- Conduct pre-entry testing.
- Follow confined space entry permit procedures.
- Implement control measures.
- Safely enter and work in confined spaces.
- Implement an effective confined space entry program.
- Know and understand the requirements for a rescue plan, including entry and non-entry rescue requirements.
