Reducing Workplace Injuries with an Early Intervention Program!

Adopting a preventative approach to employee wellness and safety with an Early Intervention Program (EIP) can help employees and employers identify and resolve the root cause of any on-the-job discomfort or pain. Such discoveries can result in the implementation of preventative measures to eliminate the threat of recurrence or even more serious injuries or illnesses from occurring in the workplace.  This lunch and learn, designed for the novice, will reveal the value of onsite early intervention services to reduce or eliminate lost productivity, increased insurance premiums and long-term disabilities which can result from workplace injuries.

Join speaker Damon Glass, a University of Oklahoma graduate, and Certified Athletic Trainer/ Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist. Responsible for planning and overseeing strategies for early intervention and injury management programs at Valir Health, he is also called upon to perform ergonomic studies, FCE studies and job site analysis. Damon has established wellness and injury prevention programs for multiple industries in his 23 years of experience.
