- For all Training Centers - appointments in the computer lab and/or enrollment in an instructor-led course are required to be made in advance.
- Students MUST arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment/class time to avoid cancellation of their class.
- Students may not enter our facilities if they are sick or have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Please call to reschedule those students ahead of their scheduled appointment time.
- Facial coverings – are encouraged but not required in the OKC and Tulsa training center due to the high rate of community spread in these areas.
Contractor Training / Basic Training Plus
Basic Orientation Plus Contractor Training (BOP)
This is a five hour course developed by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Council (ARSC) offered in many locations across the country. ARSC was created to address the need for uniform and consistent training of contract workers in the petrochemical plant environment. ARSC programs are now used in many industrial environments.
Course Completion
After completion of the classroom training, a validated written test in English, containing fifty questions is administered, and each student must be able to answer a minimum of 70% of the questions correctly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo I.D. will be issued to the participant.
Cost & Details
Cost is $50 per participant for OSC member companies and $75 for non-member companies. Pre-payment is required unless payment arrangements have been made and approved by the OSC.

Monday through Friday – HUGO office

Class Begins: 7:00 am
Tuesdays and Thursdays – TULSA office
Check-in: 7:00 am
Class Begins: 7:30 am
Wednesdays – OKLAHOMA CITY office
Check-in: 7:30 am Class Begins: 8:00 am
No one will be allowed into class once the class begins.
If your company has a minimum of 6 or more employees in need of training on different days, contact our office at 405-848-8626 to discuss special arrangements. Participants must bring one valid form of photo I.D. from one of the following categories: a valid government issued identification card or license that contains a current photograph. This document must be unexpired no longer than 60 days with valid receipt of renewal.
